Cameras, lenses, filters and other accessories are just tools: means to an artistic end… but they are really fun and interesting tools, so I’ll dedicate this page to the minutiae of the equipment I tend to use (or used in the past).
Minolta is known for their selection of vintage lenses with very respectable image quality, that became very affordable on the used market over the past decades. I’ve been trying to assemble a collection of lenses that would cover all my bases and also provide good image quality, all while not breaking the bank. While there are a ton of third-party lenses for the SR mount floating around on the used market it’s generally best to go with the first-party Rokkor models. Following are the different SR lenses I’ve acquired so far, in chronological order.
